The Golden Isles are nestled on the Georgian Coast, placed between Savannah and Jacksonville, Florida.  There are four barrier islands, St. Simons Island, Sea Island, Little St. Simons Island, Jekyll Island, and the mainland city, Brunswick. Each area is complete with its beauty, marshlands, and history.

The Golden Isles received its name from Spanish explorers more than 400 years ago.  They found astonishing beauty and a natural golden radiance.

Historic Brunswick

Historic Brunswick has city streets and squares, docks, and colonial history.  Known for its historic downtown district adorned with Victorian-era architecture and live oak trees draped in Spanish moss, Brunswick invites visitors to explore its rich cultural heritage and scenic waterfront views.

Jekyll Island

Jekyll Island is the southernmost island in the Golden Isles.  Jekyll Island was originally purchased in 1886 by a group of wealthy families as a private retreat.  Today, it is a retreat for people who want to get away and relax.
