For the chocolate lover, Barbara Jean’s in the island village serves the Chocolate “Stuff” dessert. It is soft and very rich and served with a dollop of homemade whipped cream. We suggest getting a bowl of the Chocolate “Stuff” and sharing it with the entire table.
One standout dessert on St Simons Island is the classic key lime pie. Fiddlers has the most amazing key lime pie on the island. Their key lime pies are made from scratch daily. The meringue topping is finished with fresh grated lime zest. Each slice is a fourth of a pie and plenty for sharing with the table. Or get it to go and enjoy it in several sittings.
Hanging out at the beach is not complete without ice cream! One of our favorite St Simons Island ice cream destinations is St Simons Sweets, located in the village. There are plenty of flavor options and we love to walk around through the store looking at all of the sweet treats the store has to offer. There are also plenty of other sweet options like pralines, cookies, fudge, brownies, and the list goes on and on. You can enjoy your ice cream cone as you stroll through the village and head down to the pier.
